Boot Camp
1. What new skills did you learn as part of this unit?
During this unit I learned a lot about how to use water colors. I had not previously known that I could put salt on the paint and it would turn into a cool and interesting texture. I also learned how to shade and make drawings appear more realistic.

2. What project from Unit 3 did you find to be the most successful? Why?
I consider this clay tile to be the most successful thing from the unit because I learned a lot about clay and was able to successfully have multiple layers. I used a lot of texture and colors and it makes my tile interesting even if it isn't pretty. It was a good project because I got to incorporate painting into it and utilize the skills I had previously learned.

3. What media are you interested in using again and why?
I'm interesting in painting again because it was fun and challenging. Water color was stressful because I had to work hard to limit my errors but I would want to use it again because there are so many ways to texturize it. If I use water color more again I'll improve at it and maybe make a more successful painting.
